			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The new PowerShot D10 from Canon is a 12.1 megapixel camera that has a waterproof and shockproof case, perfect for outdoor activities. The camera is capable of being water resistant up to 10 meters, and offers shock resistance up to 1.2 meters; it is also dust proof and will withstand temperatures as low as -10&deg;C.</p>
<p>The Canon PowerShot D10 also features 3x optical zoom and image stabilization to produce stunning pictures even with a bit of camera shake. A Smart Auto mode has also been added to the devices, which automatically detects the conditions, such as brightness and contrast and picks the most suitable mode for click and shoot photography.</p>
<p>There is a 2.5 inch PureColour LCD screen mounted on the back, so you can preview your pictures and settings, and the face detection software can detect up to 35 faces in a single shot. The Canon D10 has a wide range of shooting modes including Snow, Beach and Underwater to produce the best picture in any given situation.</p>
<p>The Canon PowerShot D10 will be available from the end of April and is expected to retail for around &pound;379.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The compact and stylish Cannon HF100 camcorder is one of the most talked about budget full HD camcorders on the market, and is capable of recording home movies up to 1920&#215;1080 resolution. </p>
<p>The Canon HF100 is almost identical to the more expensive HF10 and features full HD recording, a big CMOS sensor with 3.3 megapixel camera, 12X zoom and a 2.7 inch multiangle LCD display. The main difference between the HF100 and HF10 is that the HF10 has a 16GB flash drive, whereas the HF100 has a SDHC card slot.</p>
<p>The HF100 benefits from Canon&rsquo;s Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer and has four recording modes including 1920&#215;1080 full HD and 1440&#215;1080 modes. The Canon HF100 also features microphone and headphone jacks to take advantage of the audio controls and a HDMI socket so you can connect it directly to a TV for viewing.</p>
<p>Battery life is an impressive two hours with the included 890mAh battery and can be upgraded to three hours with a 1780mAh battery (sold separately). </p>
<p>Software is also included so you can edit and playback your recordings and even convert them to different formats.</p>
<p>The Canon HF100 is available now for around the &pound;450 mark and is a great introduction into the world of High-Definition recording.</p>

<p>A large 3 inch LCD display is mounted on the back so you can see what you&rsquo;re taking a picture of and features Live View for awkward positions. The Canon EOS 450D is capable of taking up to 3 and a half frames per second for action shots and a continuous burst of up to 53 images.</p>
