What do you do when lying in bed and there’s a fly buzzing around the room at a rate of knots. Your adrenaline kicks in as you get up out of bed to start the fly hunt with your rolled up TV listing magazine.
So why not apply this to your morning wake up call and you’re going to be up and out of bed before you know it. Just set this Blowfly Alarm clock to your normal alarm time and when it goes off it released the device. The only way to stop the alarm is to but it back on the base. When chasing this thing around your room just be careful it doesn’t fall on your head. It will certainly get you up in the morning but maybe it will drive you mad too.
just have to say, love the idea but im WAY too lazy to get out of bed in the morning to even consider the usefullness of buying one of these… could be cool though… how much are they?

I doubt that you will see these in the shops until next year. The Blowfly Alarm Clock was the 3rd place winner of the 2005 Taiwan International Design Competition and was the idea of Ena Macana.

I think we may be waiting for sometime for this to hit the UK market… but so far there has been a lot of interest in the idea across the web so they may push it into production.

We have found another alarm clock that has a cool wake up feature, that may be another solution for those waiting for the Blowfly Alarm clock to be released.
