Pure EVOKE DAB Radio
Ok the cheapest we found the Pure Evoke was under £85 including P & P.
The Evoke has a clock and built in alarm which will sound with either that boring tone or your favourite radio station. The radio is of good build quality and has a very warm crisp sound. The best thing about a DAB radio is that you are tuning into digital radio so no more hissing is you have a poor FM signal.
This radio has a countdown timer which is handy if you’re using it in the kitchen or as a snooze alarm. You also get 2 years warranty.
The Evoke doesn’t have a battery compartment so you are forced to carry the chunky power adaptor around with you which is slightly annoying. What we do like is the USB connection at the back of the unit so you can install software updates.
The backlit LCD has a 2 line 16 character display which is handy at the best of times.
