Motorola SLVR L7 V8
People that know how to make great phones are Motorola, just look at the RAZR… now every chav and his dog have one.
So you don’t like the Clam shell design then this is the phone for you. The SLVR VR is really only let down by two things the VGA (640×480 pixels ) camera and 5MB onboard memory. One of these problems is solved by the phone having a TransFlash (512MB) slot.
It’s got the same metal keypad as the RAZR that is a nickel plated, copper keypad. There are no major flaws with this apart from the camera but I am guessing that they’ll award the SLVR V8 a 1 mega pixel camera sometime in the near future.
It looks like this phone is due to be released in mid December. Best order yours now as these phone will be the next gadget for Christmas. This mobile phone is also known as the Motorola SLVR L7 or the Motorola SLVR.

I got mine activated yesterday and have discovered the keypad light only works when it feels like it.
Have tried a master reset but didn’t resolve. Awaiting replacement….

Oh dear, I hope we are not going to have another gadget that is sold to the masses as it looks the bees knees and then we all find out it has faults on it.

Looking into this problem a bit more, the SLVR has a light sensor on it. Found some useful info here. Not the best looking site in the world but should be able to give you the heads up.

For those of you that exchanged your SLVR due to the keypad problem. Do they send you a brand new in box one or a refurbished one? I am experiencing the same thing. Thanks.
