Genius Wireless NetScroll+ Superior
This is a great wireless programmable mouse that can be bought for under £30. We found a great site that has all of the Genius products on it from mice and keyboards to joysticks and graphics tablets.
This mouse in particular is excellent for anyone who gets really frustrated with the mouse wire getting in the way when you are working or gaming on a PC. This is an 800dpi optical mouse so it will work on any surface without any problems with the pointer control. It has precision control that is great for either gaming or detailed designing.
We followed the easy instructions that came with the mouse and got the mouse buttons set up so that the buttons could be used to play or pause music, to increase or decrease music volume, and to launch pages on the Internet as well as switching between applications. The options are endless which is really impressive. The mouse comes with a battery recharger that incorporates the radio receiver, so your spare batteries will always be close to hand.

are those mouses good for gaming? do they have a lag or whatsoever effect? are they heavy? how long do the batteries hold?

These mice are good for gaming to an extent as they are very comfortable, and are accurate especially with the optical pointer. We would though recommend the Saitek 1600dpi mouse for gaming that we reviewed a few months ago.
As for the battery life, they last ages, and with the spare set of batteries in your recharger you always have new ones on hand.

This Genius mouse is a great one for business and browsing the web. The function of these “hot keys” on the mouse means you can switch quickly between work. Takes a bit of getting used to but once you’ve adjusted it’s really good.

Just bought one of these and have to say it has some impressive features. One question though -the instructions have a passage that says:
“Important. You can use the battery charger receiver to recharge two AA each time when you use the PC. Plug the battery charger receiver USB connector into the PC directly……………………………and do not recharge via the usb hub, that will make your receiver, mainboard and hub burn or become non-usable easily.”
What does that mean as i thought the beauty of this device was that that you recharged a spare pair of batteries in the receiver while the other set were in the mouse? It seems a tad contradictory if you risk damaging your computer by recharging a spare set of batteries.
Have they just worded it wrongly or am I missing something here?
