The Acer Liquid is the company’s first Android handset and comes with some great hardware to take on the hugely popular HTC Desire. The Acer Liquid has a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera and both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity which is all but standard on Smartphones nowadays.
The weighty feel and glossy finish is pleasing on the eyes and there are three notification lights on the top telling you if you have a missed call, text message or the battery is low when in silent mode. A 3.5mm headphone socket is also fitted so you can use your favourite pair.
Measuring 115 x 62.5 x 12.5mm, the Acer Liquid is around the same size as an iPhone and data can be stored via the microSD card slot capable of holding microSD cards up to 32GB.
The Acer Liquid is available now from free on contract and in three colours black, red and white. Will it prove popular in the already overflowing Android Smartphone market? Only time will tell.
