JVC XA-MP101 Mp3
The colour for this year’s “got to haven’t accessory has got to be white, thanks to the popularity of the Ipod. This Mp3 player from JVC gives you an alternative white product, with its shiny metal sides.
Compared to the popular Ipod, the JVC can seem a bit chunky but it is sturdy enough and small enough to fit in your pocket without getting damaged. It has very usable buttons allowing you to command and search the device easily.
The backlit LCD screen gives this device a cool blue glow with a clear display, telling you everything you need to know. It has a 1GB Flash memory giving you plenty of capacity for your favourite tunes. The additional features are a FM tuner and voice recorder and a 20 hour battery life with just one AAA battery. Unfortunately the JVC XA-MP101 doesn’t include a build in recharger so you’ll need to maybe carry a spare battery with you. Good job you only need a single one.
As a music player the quality of sound, even with just using the earphones that are supplied with it are excellent. Of course the earphones are coordinating with the colour of the device. This is a good Mp3 player to buy being priced at £125-£135 as it is manufactured well with excellent sound quality. Its only downfall is that it is disappointing not to be rechargeable for the price.

There is a new Sony Walkman Mp3 player out. It’s the Sony NWA-3000. First impressions are good, a possible rival to the Ipod Nano.

I just purchased this mp3 player a couple of days ago and I am really pleased so far. It’s lightweight but really does feel sturdy. It’s about the size of two matchbooks. Overall, a really good product.

this mp3 player is really good one, very practical and right-size being 1GB. high quality of sound from both FM and music files.
high quality of recording ( without buzzing even from long distance)
I recommend this mp3 player.

Hi,
I’d rather be able to pop in a spare (rechargeable) battery than have to find a recharge point.

I bought this MP3 player early this year (2006) as I wanted a player which ran on batteries (for running/long-coach journies/holidays, etc.). Think it’s a great player - good sound (although I replaced the headphones), and fits 16-17 high-quality albums on - enough for a week away! Sometimes I wish I could my entire collection on, but I’d get a different player for a different purpose then - and keep this for the gym, holidays, etc.!
