Nintendo Gameboy Micro
Is it the case that the Nintendo DS is not selling that well so Nintendo have re-packaged old technology (Gameboy Advance SP), and are hoping that people will buy it? Or is it just to get the whole market covered with a truly pocket sized gaming machine?
Being £69.99, only £20 lees than the DS which one would you buy? We know which one we would get.
Ok so it’s small, 4″wide and 2″ tall and 0.7″ deep. It’s small but still it’s just the SP redesigned. We say designed but to be honest someone’s just looked at the bottom half of the DS and decided that it looks new and it would sit neatly along with the hippest gadgets out there. Well this Micro doesn’t, its more dropped out of our pocket and we are too embarrassed to pick it up off the floor.
A quick run down on spec
The CPU is the same as in the SP (32-bit RISC-CPU with embedded memory), the screen is 2″ which is kind of so 2002. That’s like playing Mario on the back of your digital camera; we can feel our eyes hurting already. Just pay the extra £20 and get a DS, which is 100% better than this old SP.

I don’t understand why they have released this either. They should have just upgraded the SP and stuck with the DS

I saw one of these in my local electrical shop, not naming any names, and they just are not cool. I would opt for the DS if I had to choose a Nintendo rather than the Micro
