SEGA iDog
Well we are all getting ready for Christmas here at Techlounge, and where better to start than getting your kids presents sorted first. This little friend called the iDog would be great for kids and will keep them entertained for hours. This new pet will sit and listen to music being played through normal speakers, but will also dance to the rhythm. You can also plug the iDog into any music player such as an Mp3 player using a normal audio jack, and the iDog will be happy. The name suggests that this is being targeted at the iPod Mp3 players as a great accessory.
Not only does the iDog dance to the music, it also likes to be stroked like a real pet and will display it’s emotion through the 7 LED’s on its face, so you will be able to tell what mood your iDog is in. It will be happy if you feed your iDog music which it the one things that they love. These cool accessories sell in the UK for under £30 so it’s worth getting one just for the entertainment value on Christmas Day.

For £30 these look like great fun to have. I’d be interested to see how responsive they are.

At the moment I would agree that if you do want an idog you need to find a source importing from China or the Far East. If you need one for Christmas we would recommend getting one ordered now

I have got a pink Ipod, pink Idog and pink Idog bag for my 11 year old. I managed to get a pink bag off Ebay from America for £30 incl posting, but look before you buy as some are more than £60. Just want the chill out kit now. Shame they won’t be here for Christmas.

I have the pink idog from Japan. Does anyone know how to make it dance to music? No English instructions, and just sitting it on top of a speaker or plugging it into an ipod does not make it dance. Any help would be appreciated.
Please help…
