Nokia’s new business phone the E52

In keeping with Nokia’s E-series business phone the new E52 is practical and powerful. The uninspiring candy bar design is simple to look at but its ace is definitely inside. The Nokia E52 runs the S60 operating system and sports a 2.4 inch display and 3.2 megapixel camera with flash.

As you would expect from a Smartphone, the E52 is quad-band and has both HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and a multimedia player and 3.5mm headphone socket. Internal memory is 60MB, with expandable memory taken care off with a microSD card slot capable of holding cards up to 16GB.

A GPS receiver is also included, as well as a document viewer for reading Word, Excel PowerPoint and PDF files. The 1500mAh battery is also quite impressive, giving up to 18 days of power on standby and 8 hours of talk time.

The Nokia E52 is pencilled in for a Q3 2009 release date and will be available in metal grey and golden aluminium.
