The new PowerShot D10 from Canon is a 12.1 megapixel camera that has a waterproof and shockproof case, perfect for outdoor activities. The camera is capable of being water resistant up to 10 meters, and offers shock resistance up to 1.2 meters; it is also dust proof and will withstand temperatures as low as -10°C.
The Canon PowerShot D10 also features 3x optical zoom and image stabilization to produce stunning pictures even with a bit of camera shake. A Smart Auto mode has also been added to the devices, which automatically detects the conditions, such as brightness and contrast and picks the most suitable mode for click and shoot photography.
There is a 2.5 inch PureColour LCD screen mounted on the back, so you can preview your pictures and settings, and the face detection software can detect up to 35 faces in a single shot. The Canon D10 has a wide range of shooting modes including Snow, Beach and Underwater to produce the best picture in any given situation.
The Canon PowerShot D10 will be available from the end of April and is expected to retail for around £379.

Looks nice in a quirky way, rather expensive though. I wonder what the underwater shots would come out like!
