Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-N1

Cyber-shot dsc n1 As with all Sony products you know you’re going to get an exceptional product how ever much it costs, and this is no exception. Having the green lens means Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar® technology, giving extraordinary quality, clarity and sharpness in your pictures. The 26MB of internal memory is a bit small and the only memory card it takes is the Sony Duo.

The 8.1 mega pixel camera still wows people as they haven’t hit the main market yet as they are still fairly highly priced for the average photographer to buy at £380. The claim is the battery will take 300 photos when fully charged. Again this depends on how long you take getting the perfect picture. The 3 colour screen will soon drain your battery as there is no view finder. The brushed aluminium finish on the camera is really nice and certainly adds to the camera.

Oh and not only is the screen 3 inches in size, it is also a touch screen so all the setup is done using the screen. A case is going to be vital to keep this camera in good working order and make sure it at least one side of the case is hard to protect the screen.

    Cool camera, but very expensive

I think what is great about this camera is the size of the screen, so not only taking the picture would be easy but it would be great for when you view the photos back before editing.
