Alienware has announced a new notebook to add to its series of high-powered gaming laptops. Called the M17 (not to be mixed up with the M17x), this power house of a laptop is the first to incorporate the Intel 2 mobile quad-core processor and Alienware’s first laptop to have the ATI CroffFireX dual graphics card installed.
The Alienware M17, as the name suggests has a 17” display with clearview technology for crisp picture quality and can be full customise to any specifications. Windows Vista Home Premium is standard but can be upgraded to Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition as well as a host of other upgrades including memory, hard drive and Blu-ray player.
The standard M17 system starts at £999, which is still pretty fat but for the fully specked out version expect to pay around £2,900. But for parting with nearly £3,000 you will receive one of the most powerful gaming laptops ever made with an Intel 2 Extreme Quad processor, Dual CrosFireX graphics card, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive and a Blu-ray player for HD movies plus too many features to list.
The Alienware M17 is shipping now, so why not log on to their website and get customising today.
