Siemens SL75 Mobile
Here we have the new Samsung SL75 mobile phone with great features such as a 300 hours standby time which is nearly two weeks, and a 3 hour talk time battery life. It is Tri-band, incorporating GPRS and Bluetooth. In addition to it being a mobile phone it has a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 5x digital zoom and LED flash. The Samsung SL75 will also play your Mp3 and MPEG-4’s and has a built in loud speaker. The display is a 262,000 colour LCD making it clear and bright.
As for the design of the phone it is very, what can I say, curvy. It is designed using the sliding mechanism, which is very smooth, keeping the keyboard discreetly tucked away so that the phone looks neat and sleek. The only problem with this mobile phone is that because it is small at 48 x 92 x 23mm, the keyboard is somewhat small and fiddly. This downside is a small price to pay for the overall look of the phone and the features that are packed into it.

Nice concise review, I never thought there would be a phone to replace my nice simple SL55…But this could be it. Fair comment on the fiddly keyboard, having hands the size of a scrap grab it makes the SL55 a bit awkward but the predictive T9 makes up for it.
Good site excellent layout.

amy miles > I found the phone is officially released in the fourth quarter of 2005, so it should be available just about now. Stay tuned.

I’ve been a Siemens fan for a long time, doing my best to avoid other brands. My last 2 phones were the SX1 and now the new SL75. The SX1 went back to head office for repairs 6 times, and on its final visit they informed me that water damage has caused irripairable damage. Doubtful, but gave me chance for new SL75. So far it seems nice but I have had a few software crashes and endless trouble with bluetooth communication between phone and pc. Didn’t have comm problems with the SX1 though. How many Siemens phones must I go through to find one that works effortlessly?
