Nintendo Nintendogs
This game isn’t your standard game where you run around blowing hands, arms and legs off baddies hoping you don’t get shot in the line of fire. With Nintendogs, you’re training your dog via your touch screen on your Nintendo DS.
This game is great for kids under the age of 10 that don’t have a dog. But any older and you’re soon going to get bored as the game is in real time so you can only walk your dog every 30 minutes. So if you’ve walked him and trained him and he’s tired you need to find something to do for 30 minutes!
What we do like is if somebody else with Nintendogs is in the area, this is called “bark mode”? so as soon as you hear a bark, open up your DS and check out your new doggy pal. You get to name your puppy by talking into the DS microphone this is ok till you’re repeatedly shouting Pansy at your DS.
There are four game versions, each have a different selection of dogs on it, but not to panic if there’s one you want on another game. Just find a doggy friend that has that game and swap your lame dog for their well trained Nintendog.
We feel this could be the Christmas big toy if it takes off well enough just before, so kids are spreading the word about it

Can’t wait to get the kids this for Christmas. No doubt by the New Year it will have driven me mad. I’m interested though to see it in action

It is the sort of game that will get you hooked. You never know Ric you may end up with your own pet to look after!

What a great game. I only got it a few weeks ago and haven’t put the DS down since…well at least every day to feed and water the puppy. My kids have a DS each and a Nintendogs each, but I end up looking after the pets more than them. I am struggling though to keep up with them, and the other day they were famished and parched…when I took them for a walk they were in the dustbins.
Is there anyway you can stop the clock as it were so that if we are away from the DS for more than a day that the puppy doesn’t die or run away??
Cheers for any help

You can now get dalmations and friends

dalmations and friends will be cool but you can already get a dalmation if you find the red firemans hat on the other games so why are they bringing it out seperatly? confused ?

From what i have read they are bringin it out with the dalmation plus all the other main breeds of dog (chiuhahuha, labrador, golden retreiver) as starters. That should answer your confusion.

Ok who cares about the new dalmations and friends. You can get the other breeds and find the firemens hat so why bother buying a new game?
