Pentax Optio W60 Digital Camera
Pentax have announced a new 10 megapixel waterproof camera. The new Optio W60 offers a 5x optical zoom and will work up to 4 meters underwater for 2 hours. The Optio W60 also works at extreme temperatures and can deal with weather conditions well below freezing.
What’s more the camera also features a High-Quality Movie mode with Hi Definition resolution up to 1280 x 720 pixels, equivalent to a 720p HDTV, as well as Auto Picture settings, Face Recognition features, Blink Detection, an Underwater Movie mode and a 2.5 inch LCD monitor with a 170 degree viewing angle and Anti-Reflection coating to reduce glare.
The Pentax Optio W60 will be available in the US from July priced at $329.95 and will be available in two colours; Ocean Blue and Silver. There is no word yet on a UK release date or price at the moment.
