Halo 3 Game - Microsoft Free Disk Replacement Service
The new Halo 3 game from Microsoft has certainly been freed into the market and has already earned more than 83m in only 24 hrs into its release.

The Halo 3 game is for the Xbox 360 but there have been problems with some of the disks sent out being scratched. Microsoft have said they will replace scratched disks for free.
Halo 3 is an online game and already attracts a web audience of over 1.4 million people. Microsoft are of course hoping the game will take off to boost sales of the Xbox 360which has not yet brought them much profit.
Microsoft have already launched a free disk replacement service for the Halo 3 game for people who have scratched copies.
Those who have the limited edition of Halo 3 and are needing replacement disks have complained that it can take up to 2 weeks for the new Halo 3 disk to arrive.

Ive just got a limited edition of Halo 3 and its scratched, why do i have to wait for 2 weeks? Microsoft can do better, the price is high enough anyway.
Anyone else having to wait so long?

I have now been waiting 5 weeks for a halo 3 replacement disc. Xbox support line keeps promising it will arrive with the line “wait another 10 working days”. Every time it has failed to turn up. I have now phoned 4 times and I am amazed at just how poor the customer service has been. If I knew it was going to be this bad I would have returned the faulty product to the retailer for a replacement. However, I expected that Microsoft could have organised a replacement by now. So now I am left with no option but to wait until Microsoft can be bothered to fix a problem they created by packaging a game in a cheaply produced metal tim that cracks the disc due to the spindle being to large for the hole in the DVD. How long does it take to stick a DVD in a bag and post it to someone? My advice is to try to return the disc to the retailer first before you use the replacement service.
