What we’re looking forward to seeing at E3 2015
E3 2015 is but a few short weeks away and the rumours and hype are already at fever pitch around the internet. An array of AAA titles will be battling it out for column space at this year’s event and we’re sure some developers have something hidden up their sleeves too, but what are we looking forward to seeing at this year’s event?
There is literally too many to mention, but we have compiled a few of our favourites to keep you tied over till June 16th.
Black Ops 3
Black Ops 3 is a first person shooter game and is the 7th call of duty game in this epic series. Some of the features are that it has 3 game modes, campaign, multiplayer and zombies (zombies were very good in Black ops 2 so hopefully…) A new feature of the game is that it has multiplayer campaign where you can have 4 players working together to complete the campaign at the same time on the same console. This is good because even if you want to play the campaign but someone else wants to play as well you can play at the same time. The new online mode has customisable gear for battle and also a brand new way ranking system. Last but definitely not least the zombie mode will have a whole new narrative.
For ages: 18+
This game will appeal to first person shooting fans who like fast pace warfare and Major League Gamers (mlg) will be very interested to start practising as soon as possible.
Release Date: 6th November 2015
Halo 5 Guardians
Another first person shooter that fans of the series have been waiting for, for a number of years is Halo 5 and it is a very high trending game. You take the role of Master Chief, protecting your race against alien invaders. There is also a multiplayer which unlike call of duty you can get into and drive/ride the vehicles around. There is one downfall though and that is that this game is only on Xbox One, so sorry for all you PlayStation gamers out there because you will most probably be missing out big time.
For ages: 16+
This game is a must have for Xbox One owners and also people who have played Halo from the beginning. Also people new to the Xbox One that like killing aliens I guess.
Release Date: 27th October 2015
Assassins Creed Syndicate
This time, Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed is set in London in 1868, when the industrial revolution really started to take effect and transformed the lives of millions of people with some technology most people thought could never have been created! It is also about a world no longer controlled by kings but controlled by money! The story follows Jacob Frye and his twin sister Evie as the fight against the Templars. This game is packed with brutal violence and action.
For ages: 18+
This will appeal to people who like violence, history and free roaming where you can just go around exploring as you like!
Release Date: 23rd October 2015
Guitar Hero Live
This game is good for all you rock star gamers that want to jam out to your favourite tunes. They have added in a whole new controller which has 2 panels on top of each other which are black and white for whether it should be top or bottom. This will make the gamer more aware of what he/she has to press on the neck of the guitar. The panels split 3 frets in half right at the top of the neck on the guitar controller. Guitar Hero Live also has 2 different game modes, the namesake mode and the guitar hero live mode this brings a first person aspect to the game so while you are rocking out you can look over the crowd!
For ages: 12+
This would appeal to wannabe rock stars and also hardcore guitar hero gamers (Although I am not sure they’ll like the new layout).
Release Date: Autumn 2015
Star Wars Battlefront
This is a must have for Star Wars fans and features many of the machines and characters from the Star Wars movies! For example the A-wing fighter, the AT-AT walker and many, many more. This game lets you control your favourite star wars characters such as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker by opening up perks on the battlefield! Also you can engage in awesome dog fights and epic ground battles using the ships and vehicles at your disposal. Also you can switch perspectives from 1st person to 3rd person! Last but obviously not least you can pair up with one or more of your friends in the new online mode which can hold up to 40 players in each map!
For ages: 16+
This would appeal to the gamers who like the Star Wars films and just want to have a bit of fun on a game that faithfully recreates the Star Wars genre.
Release Date: 20th November 2015
