HTC Touch / HTC P3450/ HTC Elf Mobile
On the 5th June it was announced by HTC that they are launching a new phone. What’s great about this as manufacturers release new phones all the time? Well the new HTC Touch P3450 has been developed with amazing new technology on it. It has been described as a phone similar to the iPhone but the HTC Touch or Elf goes to a whole new level.
The Touch has on it Windows Mobile 6, similar to the recently reviewed Orange SPV E650. This provides users with Outlook Mobile, Office Mobile and Windows Live. Where the HTC Touch is unique is with the 3D user interface that you get. The phone is controlled through a touch screen which is either a finger tip or a stylus, but it uses a sweep control which makes is nicer to use. The touch screen is the main part of the technology on this phone and it uses TouchFLO which allows for the animated 3D interface.
The HTC Touch is a small and stylish phone and its dimensions are 99.9mm x 58mm x 13.9mm and weighs just 112g. It has lots of other features as well as the touch screen including a 2 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-fi and good battery life at 200 hours standby and 5 hours talktime.
The HTC Touch or P3450 is now available in the UK and is available in 2 colours, a soft black as shown and a very interesting green which is called wasabi green.
