I have had these a few years and they are excellent quality. The subwoofer is amazing. It gives a great deep bass sound.

I bought several sets to use in a multi-office sound system. All of the bass units exhibit hum and radio reception, the level of which varies by proximity to radio station towers. When I tested them at home, the noise level made the system useless. At the office, the noise level is merely annoying. The front right and left speakers are noiseless, so I've cut the bass speaker wire on each unit and will substitute one good central subwoofer from another system. I've always been a fan of Logitech speakers (I own Z3's and Z2300's), but I was surprised at the poor quality of the S200's.

The problem might be coming from the mic-level input, but I've neither the time nor the inclination to find out.

I bought TWO pairs and both failed miserably out of the box. While the fronts work great both sub-woofers pick up transient noise: buzz and a local french radio station. I tried a different PC to make sure it wasn't abad luck and same thing happened. Luckily Creative has stopped making this trash and I could use help in finding speakers that don't work as a radio receiver. WHile some may call this a plus I can't wait to return this stuff to the blue lagoon.
