Acer Travelmate 3020 White Laptop
You don’t see many white laptops out of the Apple arena, we last reviewed a white laptop back in October last year.
The Acer Travelmate 3020 is the first white laptop that Acer has produced and it was not to copy Apple but to portray the sense of pureness, cleanliness and lightness apparently. The Travelmate 3020 is powered by Intel Centrino Due mobile technology and is packed full of features that the mobile business man will love.
The screen on the Travelmate 3020 is 12.1″ and 1280 x 800 resolution. There is wifi and Bluetooth built in and the laptop also features a 1.3 megapixel webcam, the Acer Orbicam. The hard drives are built incorporating Gravisense, Acer’s motion sensor technology. The motion sensors will detect a fall and therefore protect the hard drives, but it will also act as an anti theft alarm.
Battery life is good and the Acer includes the QuicCharge technology that will get the battery up to 80% charge in just an hour. All of this technology at your fingertips and it weighs in at just 1.5kg.
