Creative Zen V Mp3 Player
Could this really be the MP3 player that beats the Ipod Nano, the new Creative Zen V plus packs a good punch for its size and cost.
You can get the new Zen V from 1GB to 4GB and in four different colours black, orange, blue and green. If you get the Zen V Plus you also get to the FM radio and voice recorder. Where as the Nano is tall and thin the Zen V is short and fat, which is slightly better if you’re going to put it in your pocket, as it will be less likely to snap and will take more weight on it before it gives up and cracks.
There’s a lovely finish on the casing so it looks like a Nano, but Creative have learnt from Apple’s large mistake and have applied a protective coating on the Zen V Plus so hopefully it shouldn’t scratch as easily as the Nano does.
Only having 2 buttons makes this Zen V plus very easy to use although the joystick can be a little fiddly at times. The OLED screen is 1.5� but text is clear and vivid, you won’t be watching full feature length films on it, but short video clips and music videos will be fine. Hopefully we should see this player in the UK around July time and around the same price as the Nano
