LaCie 8GB Credit Card USB drive “Carte Orange”
We were impressed recently with a product from LaCie which was the USB Brick Hard Drive that had a storage capacity of 120GB.
LaCie also do smaller USB device that is the size of a credit card and can store up to 8GB of data. They call this card the “Carte Orange”
Within the LaCie casing is a Seagate ST1 series Hard Disk Drive with RunOn technology, which in layman’s terms means you could run with the drive in your hands and still have error free data transfer, which is a great idea for MP3 players, but how often do you run with your laptop going or at least backing up data to a portable Hard Disk Drive? The Carte Orange is slim at just 6mm and is durable which makes it a top accessory to have. There is an optional extension cable available if you are needing the extra length to plug it in to your computer.
The drive has high speed USB 2.0 connection so allows for quick data transfer from your PC. Retailing at around $139.99 it’s not going to break the bank if you deside to buy one.
