Sony E Series Network MP3 Walkman Flash
Here is the new Sony Walkman E series, called the Walkman Flash, that is an affordable and stylish way to carry your song collection around with you.
It comes in 3 storage sizes, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB and 6 different colours (Violet, Pink, Blue, Lime, Black and Silver). The really amazing feature about this Walkman that a 3 minute charge gets you 3 hours of playback. The Sony E series has a built in USB jack that enables you to easily plug it into your computer and transfer your favourite songs directly onto the Walkman.
The 512MB and 1GB have an optional FM tuner. Weighing in at 25 grams these players are very light, and it is extremely pocket sized measuring just 79mm in length.
It has a bright and clear one line LED screen which allows you to select your tracks and use the built in clock, calendar and stop watch.
The battery will last for at least 28 hours. The players play Mp3, ATRAC and WMA. On the 2GB version of the Network Walkman Flash you can hold up to 90 CD’s at maximum capacity. The new Network Walkman Flash will be available at the end of April

The volume levels on this MP3 player are terrible! Excellent unit but totally useless for me. Trying to drive some proper headphones (Sony DJ spec headphones) you really have to be in a quiet room. Whats the issue with all the current sony MP3 products?
Could their be a hack for this unit?

Same issue - the unit is great - volume levels are completly poor - i have yet to try some decent headphones but would’ve like to have seen a hack for this - been searching everywhere and i cannot find anything!
please help anyone!
