Nobby Alarm Clock

We know how much you Techloungers love your alarm clocks such as the BlowFly Alarm Clock and the Axbo Alarm Clock so we thought we would find you another one but with a much better price tag. The Nobby Alarm Clock has been around for a while now but is still a must have gadget in our eyes. For under £20 you can’t go wrong.
The Nobby is not only just an alarm clock but a desktop companion as well. This 19.5cm tall blue alien monster, with purple scales and a big eye looks like it has walked off the set of Monsters Inc. It can tell you the time, wake you up and chat with you. It has an interactive personality that you will love.
You can use voice recognition to set the alarm and it will beep to wake you up or it can chat to you. You can switch the alarm off in various ways…the boring old fashioned way, or say “alarm off” or the best one is to shake him. You can ask Nobby six questions which it will respond to differently depending on how it feels, sometimes being not too polite. You can ask him “How are you feeling”, “Sing me a song”, “Make a decision” (an interesting one…not sure if you could trust the answer!), “How do I look”, “Are you hungry”, and “Go to sleep”. If Nobby is left on he will randomly say something.
Nobby has an LCD display showing the time, but you can get him to tell you the time when you need it…like when you are lying in bed half asleep not wanting to open your eyes to check out the time. He runs off batteries or mains supply but the voice recognition takes a lot of powering so go with the mains.

You’re right….I love it. For an alarm clock that has voice recognition technology built in for under 20 quid, sounds too good to be true
Where can I get one from?
