Nintendo DS Lite

Last week the new Nintendo DS Lite was released in Japan giving Nintendo DS lovers a smaller lighter model with all the features that you will have grown to love on the DS. We reviewed the original Nintendo DS back in October and have spent many happy hours playing on it.
The new Nintendo DS Lite’s will be available in new colours of crystal white (which will probably become the standard colour), ice blue and enamel navy.
The Nintendo DS Lite will be 57 grams lighter than the DS, weighing just 218 grams. Overall the size of the Nintendo DS has been reduced by around a third, making it more pocket sized. The only changes to layout are the change in position of the start and select button and the battery indicator. In terms of features the new Nintendo DS Lite will have 4 levels of brightness that can be adjusted….maybe another reason for the name Lite? The new Nintendo DS Lite will also be region free for games.

i had doubts when it was announced about buying it but once i saw the finish product it was a instant must buy with the same size screen which is clearer then the gb micro or the psp and is smaller with great games. once i played the lite i can never play with the old one becuase its heavier. and if you want to buy it your best bet is lik sang.com its a great site for all three major region and the hand helds can pla multi region games
