The Samsung B500 has a 7.7 Mega pixel camera and a 3x optical zoom. No, we’re not checking out the latest digital camera but we are checking out the latest camera phone Samsung are getting ready to release. Can you imagine being able to carry a device around with you, that you know you will be able to communicate with your friends with, but also have the best available camera built in. Having a camera on a mobile phone is all well and good but the quality is never good enough to be able to print the photos off to show in your album.

All this digital camera power is all packed in to a 18.5mm deep case. Being able to work in landscape mode for photos also adds to the attractiveness as it will feel just like a normal camera. The screen is a good size for taking and looking at photos and also for navigation the mobile phone menu. We would also hope that it has a good amount of storage built in, with the option to slot in memory cards for removeable storage.

The only problem we can see at the moment is where the keyboard comes from as it doesn’t look like a slide type, and it gives the impression it should be a slide phone. From the back view you can see where the keypad could slide from, but it is a pretty small keypad. There is not much information on the B500 yet, but as more comes we’ll be certain to let you all know.
