SanDisk Sansa E200 Mp3 Player
So will this 6GB SanDisk Sansa E200 beat the iPod Nano or will it just fade into the background? With so many features packed in you would like to think it will take a big chunk of sales from the Nano. These are due to be available at the end of March 2006.
The SanDisk Sansa E200 has nearly the same footprint as the iPod Nano, only losing out in thickness, we can’t really be complaining as it packs so many extras.
Claiming 15 hours of battery life 1 more hour is squeezed out of the battery than Apple could manage. The Sansa E200 will handle music, photos and videos producing excellent sound quality. Being produced by the world leaders in Flash memory, SanDisk, this device has a micro SD card slot so that you can have extra and portable storage.
The 6GB Sansa E200, as it is also available in 2GB and 4GB versions, can hold as Mp3’s up to 1440 songs, or in WMA format up to 2880 songs. The Sansa E200 also incorporates and FM tuner.
The 1.8″ screen and ability to playback video, sets this player ahead in the race that Apple are all ready winning. It has an advanced navigational system to make it even easier to find the right track. This will be more durable than the iPod Nano as it has a liquid metal backing to avoid scratches. This is a price competitive media player that looks great too.

This Mp3 player looks very nice, but I doubt it will have much, if any, impact on the sales of iPods unfortunately. Do you know how much they will be?

These are going to be roughly between £100 and £160 depending on the size of the HDD you go for.

I htink this player looks absolutly brill an i think that as long as people get over the fact of it not having the apple logo on it then i think a lot of people will buy it. I myself am really looking forard to its release as i was planing on getting a netowrk walkman but i have read all about the software which has put me off. So i can’t w8 for this to be released an read the reviews. As long as it is going to play my mp3’s an be easy to use then i shal be gettin my pwas on one of these. Would you be able to tell me if you will be able to use windows media player to transfer the tracks or is it going to come with software. if it is coming with software then is it going to be drag & drop software or is it going to be useable? as i no the sony connect software is very bad. Thanx for any answers. bye. chris
