Sony RDR-HXD910 250GB HDD/DVD Recorder
Sony have produced an great addition to your home entertainment set up, the RDR-HXD910 250GB HDD/DVD Recorder. We reviewed a similar DVD recorder back in October, the Sharp DVHR480H which was also had a 250GB Hdd, but Sony has the style.
As we have seen with the popularity of the Sony Walkman we know that this DVD recorder from Sony will appeal to many people, but the price may put them off a bit. These Sony devices are selling at around £550-£575.
For the money you get the ability to record DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW with dual RW compatibility. The 250GB HDD will store up to 428 hours of programs, that works out to be 18 days worth or 2.5 weeks. It incorporates 64x high speed dubbing so you can quickly move programs from the HDD to a DVD.
The Sony RDR-HXD910 includes 30 Freeview digital TV and 20 digital radio channels, and also handles Mp3 and jpeg playback. Sony have also released the HXD-710 with a 160GB capacity, and the RDR-HX510 with an 80GB HDD. It’s a must have to your home.
